Studio Märkli AG, Luxwerk

Now, the listed building is undergoing a fundamental transformation with its conversion into an office and retail building.
1st prize in competition
In the years 1930 to 1932, as part of the conversion of the stock exchange into a commercial building, the supporting structure was largely rebuilt and the natural stone facade was completely redesigned. As part of the current renovation, the existing supporting structure of the above-ground floors will be dismantled and rebuilt, except for the listed natural stone facade, and two stories will be added. As a further construction measure, two additional basements will be built within the protection of a diaphragm wall, supplementing the existing basement.
